The main page of the yearly iGEM wiki is constantly changing. We make an effort to keep all pertinent information easy to access from the main page. Occassionally, though, you may find that a link that you saw before is no longer easy to find. Please use the links below to go back to news feed items that were posted throughout the season. We hope that this will be a valuable information resource for past, current, and future iGEM members.

Remember, the parts that you ship to iGEM HQ must be in plasmid backbone pSB1C3.

The iGEM 2010 workshop season is over. Thank you to all those who participated and to the local organizers:

the spring 2010 dna distribution is ready!

2010 Distribution

The Spring 2010 DNA Distribution has begun shipping out to teams! All teams should receive their kits by the beginning of next week. We've made a few changes this year, so when you receive your kits please take a look at our 2010 guide on the Help page.

    Important details:
  • The distribution is shipped as (3) 384-well plates of dried DNA.
  • The distribution does not contain the complete set of parts in the Registry. Instead it is made up of a smaller subset of high quality parts and some of the iGEM 2009 team favorite parts.
  • Kits will be shipped via FedEX for US teams and via DHL for non-US teams.
