GENOMIKON: An Educational Toolkit for Rapid Genetic Construction.

GENOMIKON is a kit designed to bring synthetic biology into the high-school classroom. By integrating the BioByte 2.0 assembly method and our innovative website GENOMIKON.ca, we are making synthetic biology accessible, reliable and easy to use. Continually developing the BioByte assembly technology created by the Alberta 2009 team, we were able to make this rapid plasmid assembly method amenable to a high school teaching kit.
