The 2010 Jamboree is coming up, and although you must be busy with preparations, you should also think about your team spirit. At the Jamboree you will be representing your team, university, and country, so why not show off!

Show your team spirit by designing and wearing your team t-shirts. Try something a little bit different and bring along a team mascot. Get creative and colorful!

We're currently looking for volunteers who would like to help out during the iGEM 2010 Jamboree (November 6th to November 8th). If you're an iGEM alum, interested in synthetic biology, or would like to take a peek at what we're doing at iGEM, we'd love to have your help. Check out the volunteer page to see how you can help.

The 2010 Jamboree is only a month away, and it's time to start thinking about accommodations! Take a look at our Hotels page to find a few hotels close to the MIT campus that are offering discounted rates for iGEM teams. Be sure to book soon as the deadlines for these hotels are October 5th and 14th.

We have 130 Teams from across the globe participating in the 2010 iGEM competition. Take a look at our interactive Team Map to see where they are all located!

• Due October 27:
  • Judging form
  • Project and part documentation
  • DNA submission (received by October 27)
• Wiki FREEZE: October 27, 11:59pm EDT

Remember, the parts that you ship to iGEM HQ must be in plasmid backbone pSB1C3.

Want to continue the iGEM fun throughout the summer?

Hold a regional meetup at your school and invite your local teams. In the past, teams have come together to build bridges, craft river-worthy boats, invent egg cushions, and other fun events.
