iGEM Teacher's Workshop at University of Calgary, Day 1

Today, we heard Tom Knight speak on the basics of synthetic biology, learned a bit about other teams that were attending the Teacher's Workshop and learned about various areas of the iGEM project. Different speakers spoke on different project ideas, navigating and using the registry, and we also learned how to add basic and composite parts to the registry.
