Community Collaborations
From 2010.igem.org
This year we have received a few inquiries from iGEM teams who would like to contact other iGEM participants to survey, receive input, collaborate, or work on other community-based projects.
If your team is working on a project that could use the collaborative help of the iGEM 2010 community, please contact HQ so that we can include your project on this list.
We encourage all iGEM participants to help out other teams as much as possible.
Note: It is iGEM policy not to share our email list with anyone, so unfortunately teams may not request a mailing list in order to contact other iGEM participants.
Team British Columbia - Human Practices Art
Team METU Turkey Software
As METU_TURKEY_SOFTWARE Team, we would like to invite you to collaborate with us in our effort to develop new standards for Parts Registry and user-friendly Part Registry Forms and Parts Entry pages. As the field of Synthetic Biology is on the rise, iGEM is getting more popular each year with the increased number of teams joining in the competition. Thus, the number of parts in the parts registry is increasing with the addition of more complex parts. After facing few difficulties on the parts registry pages and even during submission of parts, the need for standardization of parts entry and part registry pages have became apparent to our team. We have designed a short survey to identify the drawbacks in Part Registry and Entry Pages, along with the most desired specifications you would like to see on Parts Registry. We will appreciate your participation, which shouldn’t take longer than 10 minutes. Your feedback will help us to design a better and improved Parts Registry with new standards and all iGEM teams will benefit from the well characterized and updated information that will be available for each parts. If you have any questions before or after taking the survey, please do not hesitate to contact us.
