University of St Andrews 2010 iGEM Team
Welcome to the the University of St Andrews iGEM wiki. This is our first year participating in iGEM and we're very excited to be here! This page is constantly changing, check back for more soon!
We're St Andrews' first iGEM team. Comprised of nine studenents and assisted by five advisors we represent a number of different scientific fields. Working on several exciting subprojects and on our main challenge we have been busy getting to grips with the incredible world of igem and synthetic biology. Meet our Team and our advisors! | Cholera is a deadly infection caused by the bacterium Vibrio cholerae which causes massive dehydration and electrolyte loss. Predominantly effecting = the deveolping world Cholera is one of the world's greatest killers. Find out how through the use of quorum sensing and synthetic biology we propose a countermeasure to stop Cholera in it's tracks.
