Please use this page to answer the safety questions posed on the safety page.
All the students working on the project have successfully completed the Chemical and Hazardous Waste Handling course given by the Pennsylvania State University Environmental Health & Safety Office. The certificate of completion can be seen under documents. (need to upload documents and link to here.)
The Penn State iGEM team is working in a biosafety level one lab. We are working with a harmless strain of E. coli
