All the students working on the project have successfully completed the Chemical and Hazardous Waste Handling course given by the Pennsylvania State University Environmental Health & Safety Office. The certificate of completion can be seen under documents.
The Penn State iGEM team is working in a biosafety level one lab. We are working with a harmless strain of E. coli
Our Human Practices included a survey and to circulate the survey students had to complete Social Sciences training. This training was completed on Citiprogram.com.
