The brains behind this year's idea. Stefano is only a high schooler yet is able to master the most challenging of synthetic biology laboratory procedures. Currently, he attends Cardinal Gibbons High School in Raleigh, North Carolina and hopes to someday attend Harvard, MIT, Duke, CalTech or UChicago.
