Gel of a test digest of our light-lysis construct. Lane 1: 100bp ladder; Lanes 2-3: PRlyT digested 10min; Lanes 4-5: PRlyT digested for 1hr; Lane 6: 1kb ladder. Note the faint streaks in lanes 2-5 at lengths greater than 3kb, but an apparent absence of the desired insert (1.5kb).
