Spring Workshops

Day two of the Europe Spring Workshop 2010. During breakfast the team talked with Randy Rettberg, who complemented us on our wiki! (we had given him our card yesterday) He actually suggested we'd give the iGEM frontpage a new look!

The workshops were kicked off by Tom Knight. He summarized the main protocols compatible of BioBrick assembly.

The most important remarks were:

  • Always measure the competence of your cells.
  • Biobrick characterization/documentation has to be on the partsregistry page, not on the team wiki. Part documentation on team wiki is not considered by the jury.
