Achievements
We have:
Had a fantastic summer, learnt loads and formed new friendships.
Run a series of Synthetic Biology School Workshops, and provided tools for others to follow suit.
Submitted 23 documented parts to the registry.
Contributed the PyrD and AmyE vectors to the registry and have used Dif excision to remove antibiotic resistance genes from our cassettes.
Tackled the problem of Neglected Tropical Diseases for the first time in the iGEM competition.
Extensively characterized the existing BioBrick part, 'XylE reporter gene with RBS (BBa_J33204).
