Abstract

We wish to place genes from fireflies into bacteria to create the brightest bacterial light in the registry. We will also create Biobricks using lux operons from marine bacteria to create a system which can be implemented in both prokaryotes and eukaryotes.

The Team

We are an interdisplinary team made up of geneticists, engineers, a biochemist and a physicist, you can find out more about us on the team page.
