TCA precipitation - Medium fraction

Spin down your sample asap, collect the supernatant by pipetting carefully. Pre-cool 100% TCA and 80% aceton on ice.

Add 100 uL of pre-cooled TCA and mix, put on ice for 30 minutes.

Spin down the sample for 10 minutes, in a cooled centrifuge (2 degrees Celsius), remove the supernatant.

Add 500 uL pre-cooled aceton, mix by inversion (3-6 times).

Spin down the sample for 5 min in a cooled centrifuge (2 degrees celsius), remove the supernatant.

Dry-freeze your pellet over night.
