Helping to promote the synthetic biology in our country, which for our team is essential for next generations, we organize in the summer, being pioneers in the topic, the first synthetic biology workshop of Mexico. We invite undergraduate students of biological and chemical sciences, systemic biology and physical-mathematics for all over the country. In this workshop were implicated more than ten of the most important institutions dedicated to biotechnology, synthetic biology and mathematical sciences. The students came from nine different states of Mexico and this was great for the interchange of new and original ideas. Among other things we have seminars of some Ph.D every day, wet lab work with biobricks and IGEM vectors and a theorical-modeling course. At the end of the summer all the teams had created projects to overcome human practices and they learn a lot of synthetic biology and his importance in the world.
