Super Optimal Culture (SOC) Medium
SOC is just a higher glucose variation of SOB (Super Optimal Broth), which our lab keeps on hand. To add the necessary .02M glucose, we simply added 90.1 μL of 40% sterile glucose solution for every 10 mL of SOB.
