HUMAN PRACTICE

We understand the responsibilities and challenging issues in new scientific advances, specially when they are related with the conception and management of life, as in the Synthetic Biology field. We focus our word in the current and not ended debate developed in The Presidential Commission chaired by Amy Gutmann for the Study of Bioethical Issues, established by the U.S. government president Barack Obama in November 24, 2009, that addressed issues such as the announcement of the Venter Institute on the creation of the first bacteria with synthetic DNA in July of this year.

Activities:

  • Development of Survey and Interview about the new field of Synthetic Biology in our country.
  • Bioethics Issue of Synthetic Biology
  • SB Promotion Campaign in Society
