- we took the broth incubated overnight split it into four parts, three with either toluene, benzene, and xylene, and the other with nothing.
- We let them incubate for a few hours and then tested for fluorescence.
- All of them were equally fluorescent so we left them to incubate overnight.
- This means that the promoter might leak.
- We also transformed the ligations.
