This Thursday meeting took place at RIDS instead of the usual one. This was not just any Thursday. Today Dr. Jane Gregory would provide an insight into the iGEM ethics section where all the group members had to discuss any issues regarding the project, that would otherwise not have been mentioned. It was an opportunity to gain a more breadth & depth understanding of what is synthetic biology, but this time, not from a scientist perspective, but from a public point of view. Many aspects of the synthetic biology were discussed and a common route to communicate those messages to the general public was developed. It was an opportunity to discuss further ideas with Veronica, that came all the way from Brussels for this meeting, regarding our progress on the public engagement area. | This Thursday meeting took place at RIDS instead of the usual one.
