Monday 30th august - Bank holiday iGEM
All except for Matt and (very hungover) Tom turned up to work after a relaxed weekend. Nii and Narmada attempted more work on the Modelling side of things. Sadly the transformations made on Friday were unsuccessful, so the task for Caz and Steve was to repeat the transformation again with their fingers doubly crossed for luck.
Tuesday 31st August - Andy's last day
In the morning Tom continued to work on the wiki and began writing some human practices, Narmada started to model the LuxO LuxU phosphorylation system. Steve, Caz and Andy were all over the moon that the transformations had worked. The next step was to run a gel to extract the DNA for the transformed genes.
