Steve Waltersdorf is the first of 17 children. His youngest sibling is a tumor on his second youngest sibling, a relative novel genetic defects for women who have too many children. In spite of this, all Steve's siblings are equally cherished by his parents. Steven spent 20 years clearing out the tropical rainforest for commercial development under Skycorp Inc. After learning that he single handedly obliterated 162578 species of plants, 69325 species of animals, and 1563 ecosystems, Steve spent the next 31 years meditating in a small cave in Bhutan at the base of the Himalayas. A small section of the Illinois iGEM Special Forces rescued Steve just as he was about to achieve Nirvana. He is now professional lab rat of the iGEM team.
