Lab work
Esengül and Laura showed us around in the lab. Now that we know where to get our chemicals, ice and flasks we can really get started. Everyone has claimed their own lab coat as well.
Strain characterization

Our control strain Pseudomonas Putida GPO1 arrived. We ordered it at the [http://www.cbs.knaw.nl Centraalbureau voor Schimmelcultures] (Utrecht, the Netherlands). We received a lyophilized powder with millions of cells :p one of these days we will culture them (muahahahaha).
