Spring Workshop - Day 2
Day two of the Europe Spring Workshop 2010. During breakfast the team talked with Randy Rettberg, who complemented us on our wiki! (we had given him our card yesterday) He actually suggested we'd give the iGEM frontpage a new look!
The workshops were kicked off by Tom Knight; he summarized the main protocols we should use in iGEM for the use and assembly of BioBricks.
His most important remarks were:
- Always measure the competence of your cells.
- Biobrick characterization/documentation has to be on the partsregistry page, not on the team wiki. Part documentation on team wiki is not considered by the jury.
In the afternoon the workshop was over. So there was some time to explore Paris.
