I am a 3rd year Biomedicine student at SDU. I am 22 years old, so was born in 1987 in a little Danish hospital and have lived in small towns most of my life. My childhood was good, with lots of happy memories. After finishing the first 9 grades, I spent a year on a Continuation school and then went to high school. I graduated in 2007 and started at the university the same year. Here I have been ever since, with the exceptional vacation to France. | I am a 3rd year Biomedicine student at SDU. Louise Christoffersen
I am a 3rd year Biomedicine student at SDU. I am 22 years old, so was born in 1987 in a little Danish hospital and have lived in small towns most of my life. My childhood was good, with lots of happy memories. After finishing the first 9 grades, I spent a year on a Continuation school and then went to high school. I graduated in 2007 and started at the university the same year. Here I have been ever since, with the exceptional vacation to France.
I first heard about iGEM in January 2010 and decided to join the team here at SDU. I have attended courses in Calculus, Chemistry, Physics, Statistics, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Physiology, Anatomy, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Also I have had several laboratory courses.
I think the project we have chosen is super interesting and I look forward to spending the summer with the other 12 students and all the amazing instructors and supervisors on this team, who wants to spend their summer helping and guiding us.
I am sure we will have a fun and exiting time the next 5 months.
