<p>There are several constructs we hope to submit as BioBricks to the Parts Registry. Construct (a) is a fusion of the HybB cold shock promoter, the Ompa signal peptide, and either of the two forms of AOX.  Construct (b) with mRFP (red fluorescent protein) at the c-terminus of AOX will allow for imaging in the bacterial periplasm. To quantify the activity of the HyBb promoter at different temperature, we will express mRFP using HyBb in construct (c). Note that the final BioBricks will be in the pSB1C3 assembly plasmid. </p>
