Previous attempts to improve light production of luciferase reaction Pyruvate orthophosphate dikinase (PPDK) converts AMP + PPi to ATP (AMP + PPi + Phosphoenol Pyruvate -> ATP + Pyruvate + Phosphate) => light emission intensified in presence of low ATP concentration
