Clotho is the software tool for synthetic biology started by the UC Berkeley iGEM team of 2008. Over the last two years, Clotho has undergone many iterations of development, each time adding new features and improving the overall usability and stability of the tool. This summer, we focused on bringing the usability of Clotho to a level where synthetic biologists will truly find the tool useful, as well as improving the Clotho API to lower the learning curve for new developers to jump on board and starting making new tools.

In the quest for usability,

We have released a new website that will serve as a hub for the distribution of new tools (insert link). This website will hopefully grow into something
