Materials

40% sterile Glycerol stock
1mL overnight culture

Procedure

Chill electroporation cuvettes, DNA samples and tubes on ice.
To an empty 2.0mL microfuge tube, add 1mL 40% Glycerol
add 1mL of your overnight sample
gently vortex to mix
store in a freezer box at -80°C degrees
