LB Agar plating and Bacteria streaking

1. I’m starting off this day by heating LB agar, to pur lates for Streaking

-I put the LB agar in the microwave put setting on “beverage 8oz.

-did not fully liquefy so I’m running in the microwave again on the same settings

-next I’m going to put the agar into a hot H2O bath at 50C

2. I poured all of the LB Agar into plates for extra plating. 15ml of LB Agar per plate

-I’m letting the plates cool and solidify for an hour before I streak the bacteria.
