iGEM from Above 2008

iGEM is the premier undergraduate Synthetic Biology event. This summer, 112 student teams from schools in Asia, Europe, Latin America, Canada, and the US are designing and building simple biological systems from standard, interchangeable parts. These students will present their designs and systems at the Championship Jamboree in November. The accomplishments of these student teams during one summer are often impressive and may lead to important advances in medicine, energy, and the environment.

The iGEM Jamboree is the largest annual gathering of synthetic biologists. This is a significant opportunity for your organization to build visibility and collaborate with the leaders in the new field of Synthetic Biology from all over the world.

If you are interested in sponsoring iGEM, please contact Randy Rettberg at Randy [at] iGEM.org.
