Calling for all synthetic biologists who moonlight as artists and novelists! For our human practices, UBC iGEM is constructing the first iGEM synthetic biology art gallery and also collaborating with NaNoWriMo to showcase novels featuring synthetic biology. We would like to invite all iGEM teams to contribute by submitting their artwork, poems, stories, photos and even doodles about synthetic biology. "Art is the queen of all sciences communicating knowledge to all the generations of the world" - Leonardo da Vinci. We believe that this will address diverse issues and also act as catalysts for deeper discussions about synthetic biology and its future applications. For more information, please feel free to browse our human practices page (https://2010.igem.org/Team:British_Columbia/HumanPractices) and contact us at ubcigem AT gmail.com!

Revision as of 17:07, 13 October 2010

This year we have received a few inquiries from iGEM teams who would like to contact other iGEM participants to survey, receive input, collaborate, or work on other community-based projects.

If your team is working on a project that could use the collaborative help of the iGEM 2010 community, please contact HQ so that we can include your project on this list.

We encourage all iGEM participants to help out other teams as much as possible.

Note: It is iGEM policy not to share our email list with anyone, so unfortunately teams may not request a mailing list in order to contact other iGEM participants.
